Hello I am on 1. sertraline 100mg(1-0-1) 2.buspirone 10mg (1-0-1) 3. Aripiprazole 2 mg (0-0-1) 4.propranolol 40mg (1-0-0) 5.atomoxitine 25mg (1-0-0) I have 60-70% improvement in past 3months so I consulted another doctor He prescribed 1. sertraline 100mg(1-0-1) 2.buspirone 10mg (1-1-1) 3.qutiapine 25mg (0-0-1) 4. Bupropion xl 150mg (1-0-0) 5.propranolol 40mg (1-0-0) Is this correct combination or something should be modified? I am thinking to reduce the dose of sertraline to 150mg and buspirone (1-0-1) . Should I reduce or not.

Hi, It sounds like you’ve been working really hard and already noticed meaningful improvement, alhamdulillah. Medication changes can feel overwhelming. The new prescription looks like your doctor is aiming to balance mood, anxiety, and energy levels more gently. Please don’t adjust sertraline or buspirone on your own dosage changes should always be guided by your treating psychiatrist, especially since combining bupropion, sertraline, and quetiapine needs close monitoring.. You’re doing well by asking and reflecting on your progress
Next Steps
Stick with one doctor’s plan for now. Track mood, sleep, energy daily. Share side effects honestly. Use therapy skills (relaxation, journaling). Avoid self-adjusting doses. You’re healing step by step
Health Tips
Breathe slow, ground yourself. Break tasks into tiny steps. Keep routine steady. Limit overthinking with journaling. Celebrate small wins
