Gastritis for a few months. Please advis
Hello, I have gastritis symptoms for a few months that are under some control with ppi meds like Pantocid, fexoclue, vonalong and digene. But gastroenterologist has suggested an expensive endoscopy. Is there any other cheaper way to diagnose for suspected pathogens that may be causing this issue? Please advise. Thanks!

see endoscopy is something which u should undergo as chronic gastritis have its own problems associated withitself and ruling out any anatomical problem causing gastritis and changes due to gastritis can be diagnosed and managed with endoscopic intervetion moreover RUT should be done for H. Pylori
Next Steps
so the next step ideally is UGI endoscopy itself
Health Tips
avoid stress, caffiene, spicy food and smoking

Hi I don think so any other method is there . If you are experiencing persisting symptoms better to go ahead with endoscopy with H Pylori testing . Always better
