Gas with Liquid Motion
6 days old, doing liquid / loose motion everytime after BF that too with gas, pass liquid motion with gas apart from that as well. Rumbling sound comes few times as well from stomach. Has mild jaundice. Doesn't tend to BF properly, gets tired, sleep or starts crying but is on BF only. Seems to have become less active than she was in 1st to 3rd day. Have given Enbios suspension, Z & D drops and Gardenal for one day as prescribed by doctor. Consulted with another doctor who has stopped all medicines and asked to give Neosmiles drops before every BF. Also asked for CRP and calcium test and asked to admit in case of dehydration or infection. What exactly is happening and is it necessary to test and admit? Please advise.

Care AI Shimmer
If the baby is passing urine atleast 6 times in 24 hours with exclusive breastfeeding there is no need to worry. Breastfed babies usually pass runny yellowish Goldenish granular stools many times a day.( Thats normal!) Babies get little drowsy with dose of gardenal. Her activity will come back as the dose effect vanishes.
Next Steps
Consult a Pediatrician if the lethargy persists, not feeding well, passes urine less than 6 times in 24 hrs.
Health Tips
Continue Exclusive breast feeding. If baby not latching ,give expressed breastmilk.
