Motion sickness in a three year old baby
My paediatrician has prescribed half tablet Avomin for motion sickness of my three year old daughter for a 6-7 hr journey by car. Iam little hesitant about it though I asked him 2-3 times and he was confident that it is not going to cause any harm. My daughter's weight is 14.84 kg and she does not have any kind of allergies or any other illnesses

Promethazine , are generally restricted or contraindicated for young children due to risks of severe side effects.
Safer alternatives for motion sickness in young children include specific liquid antihistamines or dimenhydrinate.
Non-medicinal strategies, such as keeping the car cool and encouraging the child to look ahead, can also be effective.
