Gas cry sleeplessness gas drops

Asked for Female, 29 Years

My doctor advised me gastica drops if needed for gas problem of my new born .She is 2.5 months now..Can I give this drop daily to her ? Please suggest about the dose...And cam it be given daily? It doesn't have any side effects or it has?

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Yes you may give it daily. But better still try yo relieve gas naturally by cycling motions of babies leg with baby lying on back and then press legs on tummy. And put baby on tummy on flat surface with face turned to one side and massage back in circular motion. The problem will decrease once baby starts to turn on tummy by 3-4 months age.
