Ganglion Cyst Removal
I have a Ganglion cyst cultivated over a period of year on my forearm. It has grown to a size which is undesirable and I would like to take some action to remove it. Is aspiration still an option or should I go for a surgery ? What would be the cost range if I go ahead with surgery ? After the surgery, would I be able to use my arm normally after 2-3 days ?

Aspiration and steroid injection into and around the cyst is still a good option that does not produce scar. However there is a possibility of recurrence in a small percentage of people. However with excision of the ganglion cyst through a small surgical procedure, chances of recurrence are really low. The cost varies depending on the hospital and the surgeon.
