Gallstones with bilirubin 6.9
My mother is 62 years old. Last month she detected with gall stone of 13 mm. Today we have done bilirubin test of her. Total bilirubin level is 5.9. What possible steps we should test to cure the bilirubin level. She feels extreme weekness can't able to stand properly. Nxt mnth we will admit her for surgery

13 mm stone may obstruct her Bile duct and that seems to be the reason of elevated Bilirubin. If she is passing chalky white stools, that supports obstructive Jaundice. You may need an early surgical intervention instead of waiting till next month.
