My 67 year old mother has multiple gallstones largest 8 mm..
She been denied surgery due to very high risk (lung issues).. What should we do now? She has pain sometimes nd eats painkillers..
What options do such patients have??

Hi. First we have to be really sure that gallstones are cause of pain. Medication have a little role in gallstone pain. No diet is found to be helpful. Need a constant follow up with Gastroenterolgist
