Gallstones
My 65 year old mother has 3 gallstones largest measuring 6mm.. She only has mild pain sometimes.. Good appetite.. No diabetes.. Can medicines dissolve these stones? Or will she require surgery?

Your mother has multiple gall stones. At this point, these are not dissolvable by medications. Furthermore, the pain is an indication that she needs further evaluation and surgery. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, after complete evaluation, is the best plan moving forward.
