Gallstones
Hello Doctors,
My wife recently underwent a C section surgery and during this time she encountered gasteric pain. When we did the whole abdomen scan it was found that she had a pearl of small stones ranging to 3mm.
Now we are actively taking care of the diet and taking a low fat diet.
We don't want to go with another surgery by removing the gallbladder and want to take care without it. Could you please suggest?

Pregnancy related gallstones multiple and are very small in size and very likely to slip into common bile duct.. this can lead to jaundice and pancreatitis.. you should plan for the surgery.. elective surgery can be done as a daycare easily.. mother will be able to take full care of the child same evening.. if complication happen bcos of delay in surgery then it will be a trouble for the whole family

Surgery may depend on the symptoms , clinical conditions,size of stone . If no symptoms and size less than 1 cm , you can wait. But there is always risk of stone passing into bile duct. You should keep follow up and take decision as per youR NEAREST SURGEON

Watch for symptoms like pain in abdomen, vomiting and fever ..
If no symptoms you can wait and watch .
If symptoms are occurring..then may require surgical intervention
