Gallbladder/gallstones
I got myomectomy done in Sept as I want to plan my first pregnancy. Now doc has asked me to get the gallbladder removed. I have the latest blood and scan reports. I need several opinions if I should get the gallbladder removed as advised before planning pregnancy?

I don't think u need cholecystectomy (removal of gall bladder) unless u have symptoms (pain in right upper abdomen, nausea, vomiting with fever )

My opinion is to undergo laproscopic Cholecystectomy before planned pregnancy as this can lead to pain and discomfort during pregnancy. Also can lead to multiple complications of gall stones like pancreatitis, pyocele, etc

I totally agree with Dr. Narendra since it’s yr first child at age of 35. U shouldn’t keep any triggering factors which can endanger the pregnancy.
