My mother has multiple calcui of different sizes in her gall bladder lumen. Maximum size- 8mm . But no pain yet last 2 year. Should she undergo gall bladder stone surgery. Plz suggest.

Ideally speaking, asymptomatic gall bladder stones do not require any treatment Having said this, if she is diabetic, has dyspeptic symptoms (indigestion), better to get cholecystectomy done
