Stones in gallbladder
There are 3 to 4 stones(size:3-5mm) in gall bladder in one of my friends recent ultrasound scan report, is it necessary to be operated to take out stones/complete gall bladder? Or can these stones go away without surgery? Will there be any chance of stones size increase if no medication has taken? I have attached scan reports, I am seeking your opinions, could you please help with your views, Thanks.

[  ] Hi if there is no upper abdominal pain / post meal fullness / discomfort / upper back pain , then you don't require surgery. This is asymptomatic gall stone. In case you develop any of above symptoms then you require surgery. Any stone more than 1 CMS in size needs removal of gall bladder. There is no any medicines in present world to dissolve gall bladder stone. Laparoscopic approach is gold standard for gall bladder removal. You can read my article on Practo- Gall bladder stone.Feel free to ask any further quary.
