Dear Sir, Madam
I am a known case of generalized anxiety disorder , for which I was on FLUOXITINE 60 mg for 6 years , but I found no use ,hence my Doctor changed the regimen to CIPRALEX (ESCITALOPRAM) 10 mg since five days . I am experiencing sexual dysfunction. My concern is , whether it will disappear over a month or so or does it persist ; because , I heard that , in the beginning of these sort of therapies anyone would experience such symptoms and later on becomes alright. I request someone to suggest .

I am not a psychiatrist but a counselling psychologist so it will not be correct to answer this. But would definitely suggest to go for counselling as it will remove the root cause of your anxiety through counselling and guidance about how to handle and overcome your emotions. Happy to help ! Take care
