Future implications due to rod implant
I had met with an accident and an iron implant was done to fix my tibia fracture. I want to know will this titanium rod will create any problem during winter season? Also , when I'll have this rod removed, will the gaps in bone can create serious problem?

Dear Sir,
Using titanium nail to fix tibia fractures is a standard treatment these days, the implant will not cause any problems to you, unless it catches infection. As far as the gap issue, consult your doctor, because only he knows best of the type of fracture.
