Fungal Infection since 6 months
Good Evng Sir, Last six months onwards I have used so many creams for Fungal infection, met somany doctors also but no use. last 2 months onwards stared using Luliconazole cream and Took Terbinafine 250mg tablets for 3 weeks. It giving me good relief. Suddenly, from last 2 days onwards small small ringworms appearing near to this fungal areas. Especially between buttucks and Private parts.
Please advice me Should I change these cream or any other oral medication required more to get relief from this fungal probpem. What are the foods i should avoid and what should be taken in food.
PLEASE ADVICE ME SIR. ALREADY I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF RUPEES SINCE SIX MONTHS.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, cloben g betnovate, dermikem OC, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Tinea cruris is a common fungal infection. It is treated with oral and topical antifungal medicines. You have to take medicines for longer time period as fungus takes time to get removed from skin. Also personal and environmental hygiene measures are crucial to its treatment.
