Fungal Infection
Patient has prolonged fungal infection on skin. Doctor advises the infection is caused by the water however medicines haven't been able to solve the problem. Kindly advise treatment or medicines that are water soluble which can be used while bathing.

Check for the brand of medicines that you are using. Cheaper brands with inferior molecules do not work especially in an era of difficult fungal infections. ​​Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. I​​f needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loos​​e fitting clothes. Dr MK Agarwala
