Fungal infection
5years back i had consulted a doctor due to excessive itching in my inner thighs and examining very carefully he told me that i have fungal infection. 3 years i was on medication which involved applying creams thrice a day, powder, bathing with an anti fungal soap, etc. Medication was effective and i got treated. But since last 4 months the problem has come back and it has even spread to the pubic area. I am trying some home made remedies like apple cider vinegar and coconut oil but its not effective. I also applied Tenovate M but i heard its very strong and shouldn't be applied on / near pubic areas. Can you suggest me a cream to apply ?

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
Next Steps
Your dermatologist will decide a treatment plan for you after a consultation.
