Functional cyst
I was on letrazole and duphaston for one cycle I ovulated and next cycle doctor told me I have developed a functional cyst 18mm . She said she won't continue treatment and asked me to take birth control pills for cyst. I don't want to take birth control pill. M having shorter cycle of 20 days and period lasts for 6 days followed by mucus mixed with blood for 4 days. Will this cyst resolve on its own or should I take birth control. Please clarify my doubt.

It will resolve on its own. Birth control pills will stop any other functional cyst to form. It's your choice. If u are going for IVF , i would recommend birth control pills. For ovulation induction it's not required
