Fullthickness tear at ACL
Dear sir/madam. I injured while highjump. Right knee's full thickness tear of the ACL with retraction accured 20 days back.Iam attached MRI films and report .plz suggest me is there any surgery require or not . Hi. You are a police officer and your job involves a lot of physical activities with field duty. I have seen a similar case where the police officer was having an acl tear and he avoided surgery for 3 years his knee was completely damaged after 3 years and he had to change his job because of that. Your mri shows complete tear of acl and believe me after seeing more than 500 acl patients I am saying this that you will have to go for surgery or else your knee will be spoilt. Don't listen to your colleagues they don't have the problem you have. So think twice and consider talking to an expert regarding this.
