Front Tooth chipped and treatment
My front tooth has chipped and the doctor had advised that I can go for composite to make the tooth look complete or can do an RCT and then put a cap on it. How durable is it to use a composite

Hi Composite is a durable material. You can go for a compsite as suggested by your dentist. If proper protocols are followed , the composite really lasts well. The only issue is that it gets stained if not polished properly. Ofcoure the caps have more strength , durability and color stability. Hope that helps. Dr.Nisha.Harwani.

The situation can vary from case to case..it can be fruitful to do a composite restoration in front teeth. when done with proper technique and more importantly cared for by the patient as per instructions given then composite can last anywhere from.1-3years without any problem.
