Hello, Black stains on a 22-month-old child's front teeth could be related to a few different factors:
1. Iron Supplements: Iron supplements can sometimes cause teeth staining, especially if they are liquid supplements that are high in iron and have prolonged contact with the teeth.
2. Diet:Certain foods and drinks, such as dark-colored juices or foods with artificial coloring, can contribute to teeth staining, especially if the child's teeth are not properly cleaned afterward.
3. Medication:Other medications besides iron supplements could potentially cause teeth staining, so it's essential to consider any other medications the child may be taking.
It's essential to consult with a pediatric dentist to determine the cause of the black stains and to develop an appropriate treatment plan. They can assess the child's oral health, provide guidance on oral hygiene practices, and recommend any necessary interventions to address the staining while ensuring the child's overall health and well-being.
