  4. Frequent throat pain. Gargling harmful?

Frequent throat pain
Gets frequent throat pain. Every time takes antibiotic course after consulting specialist and gets cured. At that time voice also disappear and gradually returns after the antibiotic course and steam inhaling and salt water gargling. What to do now? Is frequent steam inhale and salt water gargling harmful? Now whom to consult for petmenant cure. Pls advise

Looks like your ENT Specialist is searching in the wrong direction! Recurrent sore throats should make him search for hidden reservoirs of infection... Get a CT scan of your Paranasal Sinuses in coronal view 1mm cuts. This will help your doctor reach a diagnosis
