Frequent Fever,Runny Nose & Cough
Hi sir my son Is 4 years old & Weight is 9.600 kgs & He is having Fever Runny Nose & Cough Since 2 days,i:e; 101-102 Fever range.I consulted to pediatrician and My son was prescribed with below medications:
Fepanil 120, 6ml when temperature.
Meftal- P, if Temperature again between 1to4 hours.
Clavam Forte 3ml Morning and Evening.
Dilo Ls 3 times in a day 5ml.
Tuscold Af 2 times 4ml.
& Nebulize With Combimist- L
But its been 2 days complete & My son has completed 4 antibiotic Doses and other doses Giving Too.His is getting fever every 6 hours Again & Again & When he is not with fever that time he is playing,Eating meals but When Temperature is coming to him he is Lying down at one place and becomes Dull.
please Suggest Is He on correct medication and still how much time it will take him to become Allright.

Greetings. All over world, for common cold, there is no better treatment than Indian spices and herbs. I have written number of times on variou prescriptions . e call it Kadda, concoction of ginger, whole black pepper, cloves , and jaggary . boil in water and concentrate to lesser amount of water. make it cool, serve warm . 2-3 times a day. Don't forget Nutrition, Hygiene, and healthy environments specially emotional one., Help him to be active. It increases blood circulation.

As he is playing when there is no fever, there is nothing to worry about just now. Wait for 1 more day. If fever persists, he needs blood tests to find the cause. Continue same medicines just now.

history of your son looks like Viral Fever.
In viral fever followed cold and coughs comes and usually fever lasts for 3 to 5 days max in my experience upto 7 days .
Symptoms resolution also fever goes first and cold, cough last to go.
Interval between fever he is playing that it self says it's viral and nothing to worry. To answer last question is yes he is on right medication

Greetings, first of all his weight is not adequate for the age , what to find out the reason for that. And regarding the fever it's already five days so kindly do complete Blood count and CRP , review with report after booking a consultation.
