Swelling, pain and stiffness after removal of plaster takes time to settle. Since the wrist was in plaster, it will be stiff. That will take time to improve. If the x-rays look good, then the rest will settle. She needs exercises and physiotherapy to help improve the movement and also to improve strength. Hope this helps.
