Fracture xray
On 5th November 2022 i had accident in which my tibia fibula bones got fractured.On 6th November 2022 i had surgery Now its been almost 29 days gone today i had xray . Please tell me will it require a bone grafting or not. Iam posting 2 xrays before after. Please examine them and tell me.

It should have been operated with a interlocking nail...as for now avoid weight bearing and let the callus form..

Xrays appear to be satisfactory. It is at 6-8 wks.that we see callus formation on xrays. Kindly wait.

The implant is not sufficient to hold the fracture…..

Must consult someone new ORTHOPEDICS around you….

Looking at post operative & down line about 3 weeks post fixation , Implant is not sufficient to hold the fracture and you need expert opinion of traumatologist who is orthopaedic surgeon dealing in bone injuries. Please consult your nearby expert Ortho surgeon Earlier is Better
