Fracture related information
I am having fracture in my fifth metatarsal. And had wire surgery before 1 month. I want to know that how much time is required to heal completely. And from when I do my regular activity? I am planning to move to another country may I move ? If yes than when can I move ?

It takes about 6-8 weeks for fracture to heal. The x rays will confirm the healing. Once the wire is removed, you can slowly get back to your regular activities. Initially stiffness may be there. But will reduce with time. Travel should not be a problem once the fracture heals and wire is out.
