Fracture in right thumb
I have a fracture in my right thumb. I slipped on ground yesterday morning. There is swelling and pain at the base of right thumb. X-ray report shows a fracture.

Early Motion Exercises: Once your fracture has gained enough strength, you will begin to move the tip of your thumb. 3. Blocking Exercises: Once your fractue has fully healed, blocking exercises begin to improve your ability to bend the tip of your thumb. 4. Strengthning exercises: Gripping and pinching exercises with resistive putty, wrist mobilization.

Operative/conservative management depends on site and pattern of fracture in thumb. Try: Immobilise the injured hand with a slab. Medications like Enzomac and Tendocare will help. Keep inured hand elevated.
