Calcaneal fractures are troublesome because of the prolonged time that is required for their healing and bilateral fractures sure can be frustrating. As per your history, I understand it has been more than 6 weeks since the inception of your treatment. Kindly review with your orthopaedician with a check xray, which will give you a better idea of the healing status. And about itching, it shouldn't be a major concern ....But, still kindly get your skin over the heel area evaluated to rule out any local cause.
