Increase in , C-reactive protein  indicates some sort of active inflammation in the body at the same time burning itching in foot may be due to compartment syndrome of lower leg where due to excessive shortening of calf muscles nd deep muscles to it leads to compression in arteries, veins and nerve which may alter sensory discomfrt and motor deficit.  So plz approach a physio as well as consult with  a general physician
