Hi I am 48 and I have a burning pain on the outside of my right knee .it only hurts if I kneel or put pressure on it Is it something to be worried about please

You may have wear and tear of the knee joint or a tear in the meniscus (a cartilage in the knee), which is causing the problem. If it does not settle with simple pain killers, rest and ice packs, then you may need to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon for further assessment.
