Food to eat during ayurvedic medicine
I have an acidity problem. I visited an ayurvedic doctor yesterday and have started ayurvedic medicine to treat the problem. My doctor has advised me to avoid the following foods : oily food, spicy food, cold temperature food, meat, potato, and bringal. What does spicy food mean? Is homemade vegetable sambar and vegetable curry made with dal and mild red chili powder also considered spicy food? Am i allowed to eat vegetarian curries made with spices such as ginger, garlic, red chili powder?

Red chilli powder in food can increase the acidity instead of using red chilli powder use black pepper. Start taking fennel seeds ( saunf) 1 tsf after ur meals. Coconut water works as a medicine for acidity.  Oily and spicy food means fried food and food with spices like red chilli

By Acidity, if you mean Burning sensation, then yes, you need to avoid all spices with Hot potency (e.g. Ginger, garlic, chilli) etc for some time.
