Nothing to worry.
If the milk and Chocos tasted normal nothing will happen.
Just drink water and watch for stomach pain, vomiting, or loose motion.
If you get any of these consult via practo. Thank you.
Hi — thanks for asking. Don’t panic; eating a slightly expired chocolate + milk product can cause mild food-poisoning or simple milk spoilage symptoms, but most people recover without medicines. Here’s exactly what to do and what to watch for:
What to expect
Symptoms (if they occur) usually start within a few hours to 48 hours after eating and commonly include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, and sometimes low-grade fever.
Most cases are self-limited and improve in 24–72 hours.
Do now
1. Hydrate: sip small amounts frequently. Prefer ORS or clear fluids. Homemade ORS = 1 litre clean water + 6 teaspoons sugar + ½ teaspoon salt — sip slowly.
2. Rest and avoid solid/fatty foods for a few hours. When appetite returns, try bland food (toast, banana, rice, boiled potato).
3. If vomiting is severe, take small sips (tea/ORS) every few minutes rather than large volumes.
4. Avoid anti-diarrhoeals, antibiotics or anti-vomit meds unless a doctor specifically prescribes them.
Red flags — go to emergency immediately if any of these happen
Severe dehydration (very little urine, dry mouth, dizziness, fainting).
Persistent vomiting and inability to keep any fluids for >24 hours.
High fever (≥38.5°C / 101.3°F) or rapidly rising fever.
Severe abdominal pain or bloody stools.
Confusion, very weak, or fast heartbeat.
When to see a doctor even if no red flags
If symptoms last beyond 48–72 hours or are getting worse.
