Hello, coconut water will balance your body fluid levels. For maximum absorption drink it as it is. If you mix with any other foods its absorption takes other route.. I don't know what is the reason of mixing it?some foods are good if its taken naturally..

As far as you are not diabetic its okay to have sugar in your diet up to 20 - 25 grams per day. And 1 coconut water (usually 100ml) may not created much problem, in fact its good for health, as there are many nutrients in it. Any other queries?
