Food habit for arthritis relief
I'm having arthritis issue with swelling and pain in both ankles...already taking treatment with Folitrax and steroid but no relief...now due to cold weather my pain and swelling has increased.. in general according to principle of Ayurveda pls suggest me 1. What foods to eat and what foods to avoid so it wont increase (I'm pure vegetarian) 2. Caffeine intake..can I drink one cup tea per day 3. What food items should I avoid which will cause flare up. 4. What simple home remedies can I practice 5. Simple ayurvedic medicines which I can purchase and use for pain relief.

In arthritis one should avoid extremity of temperature and sudden transit of cold to hot and hot to cold temperature. You should avoid all the maida food , oily , too much fried food. Avoid urad , Chole , rajmah ,besan in your diet. Avoid rice and curd also. Try doing moderate amount of exercise and try to use dry ginger , warm water in your diet. Thank you for your query. Hello Ma'am, don't worry, Take Madhur Amla lavan ras dominant simple food coconut water walnuts almonds pistachio Draksha anjeer etc Avoid sour curd Kadi spicy food cold drinks alcohol ,Urd Dal , Arbi bhindi cabbage etc,Yes U can take tea twice, preferably green tea, Take Sprouted maithi at morning with its water, Take Ajmodadi Churna 1 tsf bid with Lukewarm water after meals, Massage with Rumasyl oil Zandu gently
