Fluoride toothpaste or herbal toothpaste
Hi Doctor, Can you please suggest if using a fluoride toothpaste is better for preventing cavities and promoting strong teeth and gums or using a herbal toothpaste with no fluoride (eg. Vicco Vajradanti) is better for the teeth and gums and prevention of cavities? And also can you please suggest a good toothpaste, which according to you is best for daily use and good for overall oral health with min side effects?

I would suggest to use fluoridated toothpaste inspite of local one. Most important thing is technique of brushing. You should use soft bristle tooth brush & replace it every 3-4 months. Get the dental checkup done every 6 months to prevent underlying cavity or tartar.
Next Steps
you can book a video consultation with me for guidance in brushing technique.
