What is flu vaccine.does it prevent from getting flu .why my daughter get repeated cold even though vaccine is given . It goes after giving medicine .she is 5yr old

There are many types of viruses causing the so called "flu". The disease is not caused by a single virus. Flu vaccine protects against 4 types of influenza virus which is one of the many viruses causing flu. The vaccine also is not 100 per cent protective against influenza viruses. Cough and cold can be caused by various diseases like allergies etc. So just giving flu vaccine does not mean the child will not get cough and cold. Science has not developed a vaccine to prevent all types of cough and cold

Hello ! Ya it is taken normally evry year. Coz as virus will change its strain evry year so even after giving it will cum . But v can prevent tat by vaccine
