Hi! In my experience an unwaxed floss (Thread) is always better to clean between the teeth. But incase it is difficult for you to follow then you can use a water flosser which also carries out the same function & is technique dependent.
Next Steps
1. Try using interdental brush first (Thermoseal or sensodyne). 2. Brush twice. 3. Do not eat sweets before sleeping. TEETH POISON!

Both traditional dental floss and water flossers have their advantages, and the choice between them often comes down to personal preference and individual oral health needs. Here's a comparison: Traditional dental floss: Pros: Effective at removing plaque and food particles from between teeth and along the gumline. It can reach tight spaces and is portable and affordable. Cons: Requires manual dexterity and technique to use effectively. Some people find it uncomfortable or difficult to use, especially for those with braces or dental work. Water flossers: Pros: Uses a stream of water to clean between teeth and along the gumline. It's gentle on the gums and can be easier to use for people with limited dexterity or dental work. Cons: May not be as effective as traditional floss at removing plaque in tight spaces. It requires access to water and electricity, making it less portable than dental floss. Water flossers also tend to be more expensive upfront. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual preferences, oral health needs, and any specific recommendations from your dentist or dental hygienist. Some people may find that using a combination of both methods provides optimal results. As for the minimum frequency of flossing for good oral hygiene, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends flossing at least once a day. Flossing daily helps remove plaque and food debris from between teeth and along the gumline, where toothbrushes may not reach effectively. Consistent flossing, combined with regular brushing and dental check-ups, plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy teeth and gums and preventing dental problems such as cavities and gum disease.
