My mother is 68 years old and have blood cholesterol.she is under medication and takes storvas 20.Have heard from some doctors that flaxseed powder is good for lowering blood cholesterol and some have said the opposite.Can you please say whether she should take flaxseed powder or is it bad for her heart health?

She can have flax seed every day 1 table spoon and can have lot of high fiber food .. make her walk for about 30mins 5times in a week..
Avoid deep fried food and processed food.
