Flakes on scalp and ear
Hi doctors, I'm a t1D + on antidepressants. I want to know what to do for this condition and what it is. I consulted a dermatologist like 6-7 months ago for flakes in my hair, ear and scalp. It's not dandruff, they are attached to my scalp and when I scrape it, there are these hardened whitish/yellowish flakes. After scraping, next day there's again flakes at the same spot and they keep on reoccuring. Even in my ear there are so many flakes. I was using 1% ketoconazole lotion at night and Coal tar shampoo for scalp in the morning but still it's not improved, I used it for 1 month. For my ears i have not been using anything   I think my dermat might have diagnosed me with Sebohheric dermatitis but I think it could be something else. What could be this, what is the treatment? Thanks for your support
