Fistula after Perianal Abscess surgery.
I had Perianal Abscess surgery 20 days back and the wound is healing. There is no puss now but sometimes there is a little blood on the dressing.
I am doing internal and external dressing twice a day as I go to the washroom two times a day.
I want to ask what are the chances of anal fistula formation and when and what will be the symptoms.
Also is dressing in fistula is also done like it was in PA surgery.
My doc says it's was Perianal abscess ( Ischiorectal abscess with no contact to anal canal.
Pls help.
