Hi there! I had fistula surgery 3 years back;since then, when I push my hard stools my anus starts bleeding in dropped form.i am worried, can you please guide me regarding my further steps for treatment ?

U can try Conservative management for 1-2 months with stool softener, sitz bath, ointments,drinking water and by avoiding meat.
If it is still the same u can go for radiological investigations to rule out other pathology for proceeding for another operation.
Is there pain associated with bleeding
Is it streak of blood or alot of blood
Is there peri anal itching
Is there recent onset constipation
Answer to these change the diagnosis and treatment little by little

Take a tub, on it put some lukewarm water and 20ml betadine and sit on it for 15-20 min thrice daily.
Hard stools generally cause a tiny wound called as “fissure” that causes pain and some bleeding. It should heal on its own provided the stools remain soft. A simple laxative and local ointment should help
