Fish Glycemic Index
Respectful Sir/Madam, Would like to know that whether the Indian fish like Catla have glycemic index? Can we eat the said fish without any fear! Does they cause any spikes in blood glucose levels? Kindly let know sir. Thank you,

Should not fear about GI in fish, as they have negligible GI... But you should consume fish size less than 2 kg as they will not raise bad cholesterol. Less than 2 kg size, live ones are good for health.

Gud morning u can have fish but in moderate amount. It has no glycemic index.

Fish do not have a glycemic index. You can have fish. Of course, any food needs to be taken in moderation.

Hi, no fish and poultry does not have a glycemic index as they do not have carbs in them.you can have them sefely.regards.
