Fever with slight throat itch, mild cold
Hello doctor, I have been feeling feverish since last Sunday (April 18th). This morning I had a fever of 99.3 and mild cold (nose blockage and phlegm). I have been taking Dolo 500 (2 doses on Sunday) and Calpol 650 ( 3 doses monday, 1 today) on a family doctor's general advice. Additionally, I took azithral 500 and ivermectin 12 mg yesterday. My mom has also developed a fever and she is on same medication. Could you tell me if this could be a generic flu? Should I wait a few more days before getting a covid test? Thanks a lot!

Start doing steam inhalation and practice breathing exercises. Include nutritional supplements for the next week such as Vit C , Vit D and Zinc, if you have no contraindications to them.
