Fever since yesterday night
My daughter 4 years old and she is having fever since yesterday and went for pediatrician today and he said it is viral fever and it will be there for 3 days and he ask us to give dolo 250ml syrup for 4times a day for 3 days and still if it not reduce then give augumentin for 7days. And ask her to drink plenty of water and fluids. I am so tensed as fever us coming and going. Is this treatment ok. As I am so tensed.

If no other symptoms, likely viral fever. Augmentin will not help in viral fever. It may take 5 days to get well

If temp > 102, better to test urine before starting augmentin
