Fever since last night and can't taste
Hi, My husband is having fever since last night. It was 101.1 when I checked it first and gave him paracetamol. It decreased to 100.3 in 2-3 hours. In the morning it was 99.8 I gave him poha for breakfast but he said it tasted to him like rubber , he still can smell( checked it by spraying room freshner) Can these be covid symptoms? Should I give him another paracetamol or should we directly go and get a covid test done.

Common cold and fever also decreases taste sensation. We all know when we were ill in childhood, foods didn't taste good. But covid fear has changed our mindset. So please get tested for covid, malaria and dengue. Please consult for further management.
