My child is 8.5 months old boy around 8 kgs he is having fever of around 101 from afternoon no copd or cough what to give the medication

Give syrup paracetamol (5ml/125 mg) 5 ml every 6 hours. If fever persists for more than 2 days, any new problems start or baby is not playful in between, do proper consultation
