I am having fever for last three days(103 degrees).I went to the doctor and they have given me dolo 650. But it is not coming down and they have not given any injection.What is the reason for this.any test has to be taken for this.give valuable suggestions

If You have fever alone without any respiratory illness or painful urination it is only viral fever if it is associated with chills. Giving only tablet is ethical unless you have vomitting or you are unable to take tablets. But if your fever is continuing you have to take basic blood counts and blood and urine culture and to be given appropriate medications

Hello there.
The doctor must have thought that it's a viral fever in which only paracetamol is usually enough.
But since its not coming down it's better to get a few tests done.
Consult your physician again and get your case reviewed.
