Typhoid without fever
Hi, I am having weakness since last 2 weeks, I went to Dr. they told viral infection, I am also feeling congested in head and ear like cough is there. After taking medicines for 5 days same symptoms so Dr. told to do blood, urine test, everything is normal but S Typhi O is 1:160 positive. Is it typhoid? but I dont have any fever, my temp is 97

YES, IT'S TYPHOID. FEVER IS NOT PRESENT DUE TO PREVIOUS TREATMENT.
HIGHER ANTIBIOTICS IN INJECTABLE FORM
FOR THREE DAYS AFTER AST( AFTER SENSITIVITY TEST).
DIET IS VERY IMPORTANT.
ONLY LIQUID DIET FOR FIVE TO SEVEN DAYS. EG, DISSOLVE BISCUITS IN MILK OR TEA.
ROTI WITH MILK PERFECTLY MESSED. RATHER CHURNED LIKE WISE.
THAN SLOWLY SEMI SOLID LIKE KHICHARI, PORRIDGE WITH MILK.
DIET IS ADVISABLE BECAUSE THE ULCERS IN INTESTINE ARE FORMED DUE TO THYROID DISORDER AS MUCOSA OF GUT BECOMES ERRODADE SO ANYTHING HARD CAN CAUSE RUPTURE OF ULCERS MAY LEAD TO BLOOD VOMITING.
DURING THIS YOU HAVE TO TAKE COMPLETE REST.
