Fever due to infection
My son has fever for past 10days. We take blood test also. There is no viral fever but the report shows some hygenic issue. Dr prescribed antibiotic syrup and paracetomol. Bt now also he has fever on evening and night time. After taking syrup it reduce gradually. How long it lasts? What can i do for it? His fever ranges from 99 to 100 in night time only. Otherwise his body temp is normal. He is also active except during fever. Pls help me to sort out the problem. What is next step to do and what is the reason for it? And his upper body only hot, lower body is cool always. Help me

Buy kids thermometer touch on fore head measure temp within 30 seconds .Normally viral fever gets better within3-5 days. Since fever is continuing, , we can not forget it. Do Mantoux test. Fixup appointment through Practo-Consult on line .and let me know.

More details are needed. 99 to 100 F fever means he is improving. Continue sane treatment. Consult directly
